Folktales and the Rails with Master Storyteller Diane Macklin | B&O Railroad Museum

To coincide with our new exhibition, The Underground Railroad: Freedom Seekers on the B&O Railroad, acclaimed storyteller Diane Macklin will be performing a blend of American stories and traditions with African roots.

This fun, interactive, family program will highlight American wit and wisdom with African roots. Listeners of all ages are welcome. We recommend you catch the 1 PM train ride, then settle in for a feast of stories.

The Underground Railroad exhibit particularly made an impression. You can learn about the enslaved people who passed through Mount Clare Station as their last stop before reaching the northern states. Sobering and inspiring stories.
