This paid training is a unique opportunity to acquire skills desired by the construction, railroad, and facilities maintenance industries.

Consider training where you will learn:

  • Construction Skills
  • Building Maintenance
  • Rail Safety, Inspection & Operation
  • Historic Site Preservation

This 6-month paid training can lead you to rewarding career opportunities in the facilities maintenance, construction, and rail industries.

Please see the dates below for the upcoming information sessions and workshops. After the workshops, you will be able to sign up for a one-on-one interview. Selected candidates will be notified in mid-April with an anticipated start date on May 5, 2025.

Information Session

(Must attend 1 session):

  • Monday, March 24, 2025 @ 1-4 pm
  • Wednesday, March 26, 2025 @ 11 am-2 pm
  • Tuesday, April 1, 2025 @ 10 am-1 pm
  • Thursday April 3, 2025 @ 4-7 pm

All sessions will be held in the Education Station at the B&O Railroad Museum, 901 West Pratt Street, Baltimore.

Workshops

After the information sessions, participants interested in the Restore Baltimore program will be asked to attend 2 workshops on the following dates:

  • Monday April 7, 2025 @ 8-11 am
  • Tuesday, April 8, 2025 @ 8-11 am
