Generations of American workers have left a lasting impact on civil rights and the evolution of the labor force through their experiences with the B&O Railroad.

Through this unique educational experience, explore both the B&O Railroad Museum and the Irish Railroad Workers Museum.

Stop by the Irish Railroad Workers Museum at 11 AM, tracing the steps of those who shaped the nation.

Attend a genealogy presentation at 1:30 PM at the B&O Railroad Museum, where you’ll learn research techniques, best practices, and be provided with resources and real experiences from the B&O’s Archives Department and the Irish Railroad Worker Museum’s staff.

Following the presentation, join us for a tour at 3 PM around the B&O Railroad Museum as we discuss the Irish American Impact on the B&O Railroad.

Schedule:

  • 11 AM: Visit the Irish Railroad Workers Museum
