Please Note: Parking will be at 1100 James Street, Baltimore, our additional parking lot that is also used for The Polar Express™.
Due to the popularity of Day Out with Thomas, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. All guests ages 1 and older must have a ticket.
When purchasing tickets, you will be asked to select a date and time – your tickets are only valid for this day and time. You will receive your tickets via email.
Please note B&O Membership cards, passes, coupons, discounts, consignment tickets, etc. are not accepted for admission during this event. Refunds and exchanges are not offered.
There is FREE off street on-site parking available at 1100 James Street, Baltimore, MD. If that lot should be full, you will be directed to the museum front parking lot located at 901 W. Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD.
The Day Out With Thomas™ ride is approximately 25 minutes roundtrip. Your ticket is valid for one ride, if you wish to ride more than once, you will need to purchase additional tickets. The ride does not include assigned seating, so please arrive with your entire party when boarding the train.
It is recommended that you arrive at the event at least one hour before your scheduled train ride time.

Day Out With Thomas™ is a wheelchair accessible event. Guests with mobility aids may be dropped off at the top of the hill by the James Street Lot to ensure the shortest travel distance.
Day Out With Thomas™ events take place rain or shine. Please dress for all weather conditions.
All guests are welcome to take photos of their experience. Professional photos with the Thomas the Tank Engine™ locomotive will also be available.
There will be food concessions with kid-friendly and healthy options available for purchase.
There is even a designated area for stroller parking during the train ride. Strollers are not permitted on the train platform or on the train.
Though we love your four-legged friends, pets are not allowed.
